Sarah Ize-Iyamu

Hey, I’m Sarah Ize-Iyamu

Firstly, Thank you for visiting my website. I’m glad to have you here.

I started my Beauty Journey at the University of Lagos as a Makeup Artist.

During the 6 months ASUU Strike (Lecturers were demanding to be paid so they decide to not teach and go on strike for 6 months) I decide to use this opportunity to learn a new skill, Makeup & Gele.

If you haven’t heard the word Gele before, Gele is the Nigerian Headtie we wear for Traditional Weddings or events. Here’s a picture of one I tied on myself.

So I learned how to tie Gele from an amazing woman Sojuloge.

On the side, I was also selling Skincare products at the university, Primarily African Black soap, acne Cleansers, and other beauty products.

And then for another period of time, I learned makeup and worked with Aunty Remi, the face behind Glam Stories. During that time, I worked with her on the set of the movie called ISOKEN which you can check out here on Netflix.

Eventually, I dived into the Online Marketing World mastering Facebook advertising, copywriting, sales funnel building, Course Creation, and more, and did numerous Seminars in Nigeria before I finally transitioned to live in the US.

I started this website as a place to merge my numerous ideas, talents, and secret loves under one roof.

This platform has been specifically built to share Lessons I learn daily on this journey of Life and inspire you to thrive in life, love, and business through Self-image, Self-care & Style.
