In your Romantic Relationship, are you God-driven or are you ego-driven?
When it comes to your love life, Are you God-driven or Ego-driven?
In everything you do, are you led by God’s perfect word or are you led by ego?
The Bible says in Romans 8:14 AMP “For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

In your thoughts, words and actions everyday, As Christians we always allow the holy spirit to lead.
The ego-driven individual allows fear to lead, however, the God-driven individual understands that 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV says, “God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love and of a sound mind.”
When it comes to romantic relationships;
The ego-driven man is threatened by a woman who is actively building her wealth creation capacity so he does things to pull her down physically, psychologically, spiritually and financially.
A woman who has solidified her identity in Christ, cannot let an ego-driven man into her life or even have a romantic relationship with him because she understands that the man as a King and Priest in Revelation 1:6 has to lead the Home according to God’s word daily.
She understands that she must only allow a King who has his spiritual authority deeply rooted in Christ as her covering. In this case, respect and submission comes naturally in all aspects of the marriage without any form of force.
Having an understanding of the God-given roles of the man and woman in Marriage is the Foundational key to Raising Godly Children, building a successful Family, Thriving Society and Astounding Nation at large.
These roles are what a God-driven man and his wife does to navigate the relationship in God’s direction.
Vice versa; a man who has solidified his identity in Christ, knows how to find (Proverbs 18:22 NKJV) and receive a Prudent wife which is a gift from the Lord Jesus Christ (Proverbs 19:14 NKJV). He understands that as an Excellent wife she is his crown (Proverbs 12:4 NKJV) and he obtains Favour from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22)
The God-driven man knows that having a virtuous wife is far above rubies (Proverbs 31:10 NKJV) and he can never take her for granted because she’s too precious.
The God-driven Man and His God-driven Wife both know how to dwell with one another in understanding so their prayers may not be hindered (1 Peter 3:7 NKJV)
He knows that as the head of the household, “that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”
Ephesians 5:26-33 NKJV

To differentiate between the ego driven man and the God-driven man is to consistently wear the lens of prayer, active studying of God’s word and obedience to His Word.
Here’s a guiding scripture when it comes to differentiating between the God-driven man and the ego-driven man in your love life;
“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits (THOUGHTS, WORDS & ACTIONS OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME) you will know them.”
Matthew 7:16-20 NKJV

Finally, recognizing and exercising the authority we Christians have over the devil is the pillar to enjoying a God-powered marriage according to Romans 8:37 NKJV which states, “yet we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
